There a few of those “Moments” in our life that are beyond measure. For me this weekend held many.
I first met this unbelievely talented lady last year when I took her clinic on a whim. I was so impressed by how she connected horse and rider that one day turned into two. We were blessed to ride with her again this weekend.
Now SEVEN and LEAD will be the words that bring me back where I need to be. Many believe they are trainers but few are true HORSEMEN. Lorie is one of the true. If you ever get the opportunity to meet and ride with her, grab it, you won’t be sorry

I attended Lorie’s Horsemanship clinic in 2019 and was so impressed by the whole experience.

Lorie showed us ways to communicate, trust and respect our horses in many different ways.

Lorie took the time to talk individually with each participant and auditor at our clinic.  We all learned new ways to gain trust and truly understand and connect with our horses.

By the end of the day we were able to experience “Liberty!” This clinic left me with such a positive platform that I can take with me in any discipline.  I can’t wait for Lorie to come back to Minnesota!

 

For several years I had followed Lorie Duff on FaceBook, watching her many posts regarding horse health, horse care and the clinics she puts on across the US, Canada and Europe ! It was my great pleasure to finally meet her at a large horse event in Kentucky in 2018 and we soon corresponded and set up for her to come put on a clinic at our facility in Montana the spring of 2019!

We had a great fun turnout, Lorie shared her insights, skills and techniques to the group of participants and observers all the while explaining her theories and philosophies on horse behaviour, emotion and response. She was also open to taking questions, listening to and participating in open discussion. And after two days had every participant make changes in their horse and their outlook and insight into their individual horsemanship programs.

Lorie is very personable, joyful and sure has a heart for the horse and trying to help others expand their horsemanship knowledge
